splendid stay
attentive staffconvenient location
the staff was attentive, demonstrating genuine care. the location near the beach proved very convenient for leisurely strolls. i particularly appreciated the adults-only section. the prestige dining area provided an elevated dining experience.
the room again was lovely, perfect for a family of 4, there was a separate double bedroom and in the living area there were two beds set up for our children. plenty of cupboard space, beautiful views and comfy beds. the only downsides were very poor lighting! and there were only two mirrors in the room, the bathroom mirror again with poor lighting and one in the bedroom with even worse lighting so this made doing make up and shaving tricky! the hotel is clean! the rooms and grounds were always pristine. the food was of a very good standard, if not a bit repetitive. there was a good selection of different options including paella, freshly grilled meats/fish etc including plain options for children, pizza, pasta, hamburger and hotdogs. there's several reasons we would not return... there is only 1 dining area, most of which is indoors, it's more like a canteen than a restaurant, very noisy and busy, with no atmosphere. there was a small area at the back of the restaurant that was outside, this was much nicer! we enjoyed breakfast and dinner outside, but at lunchtime this area was for paying guests only, all inclusive was not available. we decided to pay one lunchtime for lunch so we could sit outside, unfortunately the food was not very good, the club sandwich was made using the processed meats from breakfast with cold nearly toasted bread and cold chips. this area was empty most lunchtimes. when on holiday one of the highlights are long lunches with a glass of wine in the sun, not here. there are several pool areas, an adult only pool, looked lovely. a children's pool with slides and the main pool area with a small baby pool, large pool and an infinity pool. at the main pool area there are games, aqua gym and dance routines daily. we have children but we don't like busy pool areas, with lots of jolly entertainers. we like a pool area that is just a pool area where you can enjoy the views, a swim a drink and read a book. if you have children there is not an area like this available at this hotel. on our first day, we had been set up at the pool for a few hours, our children were trying to have a sleep when all of a sudden there was a pool football/handball game set up less than 2 feet from the end of our children's sunbeds, there were adult men smashing a ball as hard as they could straight past our children's heads, totally unacceptable! the pools are freezing! so so cold it was unpleasant to be in them. our children like most, like to play in the pool all day but it was just too cold, we would go in but could only be in there for 10 mins, by that time we would all be shivering. the hotel don't manage the pool area when it comes to reserving sunbeds, so every day if you didn't go and reserve your beds with towels by 8-8.30 you couldn't get one. every day there would be more beds reserved and sitting unused than there were with people sat at them.

The hotel location offers SUPERB access to the walking boulevard. I found a variety of shops and restaurants with ease. The walk towards the lighthouse provided a peaceful escape from the busier areas.
The room lighting was unfortunately poor , especially for tasks like makeup or shaving. The mirrors also had issues , especially in the bathroom. I also think the food selection was a bit repetitive.

the hotel had a great location near the promenade. i found the dining area well set out and it looked great. the best part was having access to the prestige dining area because i had upgraded. there was a wide choice of food in both buffet halls.
the room lighting was very poor. there were only two mirrors in the room and doing make up was tricky. the food was of a very good standard but a bit repetitive.
